Enhanced DTC induction motor drives for THD minimization performance improvement with multilevel inverter

چکیده
Direct torque control (DTC) is a method applied in induction motor (IM) drives to the speed and of IM accurately independently without feedback signal. However, fast fourier transform (FFT) analysis, total harmonic distortion (THD) high DTC with conventional inverter (CI). Therefore, purpose this study minimize THD affecting drive’s performance. A drive multilevel (MLI) proposed reduce preserve good response simultaneously. MLI based minimization has several advantages over CI, including higher generated output voltage low distortion, operate under switching frequency, work renewable energy. In order prove effectiveness drive, MATLAB Simulink used investigate different operating condition. From study, able maximum 13% operation as compared CI.
